In a shocking incident, a manager of a Navi Mumbai farmhouse has been arrested for allegedly installing a hidden camera in a washroom to spy on female guests, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old manager, identified as Manoj Bhagwan Chowdhari, reportedly installed a clandestine device in the bathroom of the farmhouse located in Panvel. This act of surveillance was unearthed when three women discovered the hidden camera over the weekend.

Following their discovery, a relative of one of the women approached the authorities to file a complaint, leading to Chowdhari's arrest on Sunday. He now faces charges under Section 77 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, addressing voyeurism, along with relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act.
