The official jersey for the 4th South Asian Athletics Championship 2025 was launched Tuesday at a press briefing in Ranchi's Directorate of Sports. Scheduled from October 24-26, the championship will take place at Birsa Munda Football Stadium, informed SAAF. The briefing was led by Shekhar Jamuar, Director of Jharkhand's Sports and Youth Affairs, and attended by key officials and media.

Shekhar Jamuar emphasized Jharkhand's readiness to host the event with excellence, aiming for international-level hospitality and organization. Athletes from South Asian countries are arriving in Ranchi, with remaining contingents expected on Wednesday. Chief Minister Hemant Soren is set to inaugurate the championship on October 24, marking its vibrant kickoff.

Efforts to engage local youth and students are underway, coordinated by sports officers and the Department of Education. The cultural team is preparing dynamic performances, celebrating Jharkhand's rich artistic heritage. With plans aligning with international standards, the state aims to present an impressive, unity-promoting occasion that resonates beyond its borders.
