Delhi's Environment Minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, conducted a significant review meeting with senior officials to assess the Air Pollution Mitigation Action Plan 2026. The meeting was held at the Delhi Secretariat and included representatives from the Department of Environment and the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
The discussions centered around the implementation of strategies to curb pollution, notably through the deployment of more mechanized road sweeping machines and water sprinklers. Minister Sirsa emphasized the importance of identifying pinpoint sources of pollution to address air quality challenges effectively.
According to Sirsa, the Rekha Gupta-led government is committed to enhancing air quality through comprehensive decisions at multiple governance levels, ensuring the effective implementation of these initiatives across Delhi.
