Tragic Electrocution: Mother and Son Die in Water Pump Accident
A 65-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son died from electrocution when trying to activate a water motor pump in Siswa Town. The incident occurred as the son attempted to rescue his mother after she suffered an electric shock. Both were declared dead at a local health center.

A tragic incident unfolded in Siswa Town on Friday evening when a 65-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son were electrocuted while trying to switch on a water motor pump, police reported. The victims have been identified as Rambha Devi and Akhilesh Singh.
Akhilesh rushed to aid his mother, Rambha Devi, when she was found lying unconscious after receiving the electric shock. Unfortunately, in his attempt to lift her, Akhilesh also came into contact with the live current, leading to his electrocution.
Family members immediately transported them to the Community Health Centre, where doctors declared both individuals brought dead. After comforting the grieving family, the local police, led by Station House Officer Dharmendra Kumar Singh, sent the bodies for post-mortem as investigations continue.
