In a tragic series of events, three men were fatally trampled by wild elephants in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district on Friday. The incidents, occurring separately in the villages of Banda and Murpa, have left the local community in shock and mourning.

Local authorities have confirmed the identities of the victims as Dheeraj Kumar, 26, Jugal Bhuiyan, 30, and Samdev Saw, 73. Their bodies have been recovered and sent for post-mortem examinations.

Family members of the deceased have been given Rs 25,000 as immediate relief. According to the DFO of Ramgarh, further compensation of Rs 4 lakh will be provided by the Jharkhand government after official formalities are completed.
