A fire erupted at a pharmaceutical plant in Maharashtra's Palghar district on Tuesday morning, authorities confirmed. No casualties have been reported, according to Vivekanand Kadam, the district disaster management cell chief.
The fire started at around 8:30 am in the Boisar Industrial Estate. The alert prompted a quick response, with four fire engines dispatched, including assistance from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and the Palghar Municipal Council.
Firefighting efforts are ongoing to bring the blaze under control. Investigations are underway to identify the cause of the fire, which remains unclear at this time.
