Tragic Blast in Himachal: Three Injured in LPG Cylinder Explosion
Three individuals sustained severe burn injuries following an LPG cylinder explosion in Bhota town, Himachal Pradesh. Purushottam Chand suffered critical injuries with 70% burns and was referred to AIIMS Bilaspur. Police are actively investigating the cause of the fire and resultant explosion.

An LPG cylinder explosion caused serious injuries to three individuals in Bhota town of Himachal's Hamirpur district on Tuesday. The incident took place in a sweet shop owned by Purushottam Chand, who sustained critical burns over 70% of his body.
Eyewitnesses recount that as Chand tried to open his shop early in the morning, he noticed flames and smoke inside. Despite efforts to lift the shutter with the help of nearby shopkeepers Kamlesh Kumar and Rakesh Kumar, the sudden explosion engulfed them in flames.
Purushottam was critically injured and transferred to AIIMS Bilaspur after initial treatment, while Kamlesh and Rakesh also suffered injuries. The police, led by SP Balbir Singh, are investigating the cause of the explosion, which led to extensive damage to the shop.
