A mild earthquake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, shook Arunachal Pradesh's West Kameng district on Wednesday, reported authorities.

The tremor, recorded at 8.57 am by the National Center for Seismology, had a depth of 5 km.

No casualties or property damage have been reported, said Nyelam Sunil, a technical officer at the Itanagar-based Centre for Earth Science and Himalayan Studies' seismology division.
