The impact of the cyclone led to significant disruptions. Authorities declared holidays for educational institutions in several districts, while the transportation sector experienced severe setbacks as waterlogging resulted in train cancellations and diversions. Public safety became a priority as local administrations evacuated residents from low-lying areas to relief camps.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy emphasized the state's emphasis on rapid emergency response, instructing civic bodies and disaster management agencies to act promptly. With Hyderabad also witnessing heavy showers, local authorities, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, were engaged in addressing public grievances promptly.
