Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Friday that he successfully underwent treatment for early-stage prostate cancer. While the specifics of the treatment schedule remain undisclosed, Netanyahu confirmed on social media that targeted treatment had eradicated the malignant tumor found during a routine checkup.

The annual medical report, released alongside his statement, confirmed that radiation therapy had been used to treat the prostate cancer. However, both the report and Netanyahu omitted details about when the treatment occurred, noting instead that the prime minister is otherwise in good health.
