Reports suggest that Stalin, the DMK president, is planning a brief family retreat to Kodaikanal on April 25. Elsewhere, his son and Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi, has already departed with family for a short vacation in Dubai, underscoring a moment of pause amidst months of intense campaigning.
Meanwhile, opposition critiques surface, as BJP candidate from Mylapore, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, challenges Stalin on the pending local body elections, pointing out his past advocacy for timely electoral processes during his tenure as the leader of the opposition.
