Lodhi, who met with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, expressed remorse, stating he would adhere to the party's guidelines in the future. His statement came after Khandelwal labeled Lodhi's conduct as "highly inappropriate," demanding an explanation within three days.
The controversy erupted after a video showed Lodhi allegedly threatening a police officer. The Indian Police Service Association condemned the remarks and called for action against the MLA.
