Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, will lend his support to the Trinamool Congress in the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections on April 26 and 27. The campaign move follows an invitation from West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC leader Mamata Banerjee.
Kejriwal, who previously served as the Chief Minister of Delhi, is slated to participate actively in public meetings and outreach initiatives to bolster the TMC's efforts in the second phase of polling.
Citing a recent phone conversation with Banerjee, Kejriwal expressed his unwavering solidarity, emphasizing the election's significance for the broader landscape of Indian democracy. The second phase of voting is scheduled for April 29.
