Chennai, April 23 (ANI): On Thursday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin's daughter Senthamarai Stalin and son-in-law Sabarisan exercised their democratic right in the ongoing Assembly elections by casting their votes at a Chennai polling station.
Earlier, CM Stalin expressed optimism, declaring that Tamil Nadu will emerge victorious, as he voted alongside his family, including his wife Durga and Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin. Luther Assembly constituency remains a stronghold for Stalin amid fiercely contested elections statewide.
The initial voter turnout reached 37.57% by 11 AM, with Tiruppur leading at 42.45%, according to the Election Commission. As polling continues with tight security, the outcome may pivot on the DMK's welfare record or AIADMK's comeback, considering actor Vijay’s party making a notable electoral debut.
