On Thursday, former Governor and BJP candidate Tamilisai Soundararajan asserted that women's voices should resonate more in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
She underscored that victories by female candidates in the ongoing elections marked a win for the NDA. Polling began across 234 segments in Tamil Nadu at 7 AM.
Soundararajan, contesting from Mylapore in Chennai, depicted the election as a crucial fight, not between entities from Tamil Nadu and Delhi, but between the state's women, who feel unsafe, and the DMK. Confident about the BJP’s prospects, she noted the democratic beauty of contesting where Chief Minister MK Stalin is a voter. The medical doctor iterated her commitment to amplifying women's issues in the Assembly.
