On the somber occasion of the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annpurna Devi pledged that India will not forget the atrocity perpetrated by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The attack, which took place in Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the tragic loss of 26 lives, many of whom were tourists visiting from across India. Devi paid heartfelt tributes to the victims, labeling the incident a 'dark chapter of cowardice and inhumanity.'
In retaliation, India undertook Operation Sindoor, a military campaign aimed at crippling terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, showcasing its resolve against terrorism.
