In the shadow of tragedy, the families of two men killed in the Pahalgam terror attack continue grappling with trauma a year later. Manjunath Rao and Bharath Bhushan were among 26 victims gunned down by terrorists.

The attack occurred on April 22, 2025, when Rao, a Shivamogga realtor, was fatally shot in front of his wife and son during their first Kashmir visit. His relative, Ravi Kiran, conveyed the family's ongoing struggle to cope with the incident.

Similarly, IT professional Bharath Bhushan from Bengaluru also fell victim. Survived by his wife and son, Bhushan's family remains silent, with his father expressing deep distress. The attack triggered India's Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan.
