BRS Leader Slams Tejasvi Surya's Remarks on Telangana, Demands Action

In a vehement rebuttal, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan has sharply criticized BJP MP Tejasvi Surya for his controversial remarks during a Lok Sabha session on delimitation. Sravan accused Surya of insulting Telangana, its martyrs, and undermining the constitutional process that led to the state's creation.

Sravan argued that Surya's comments exhibited a profound ignorance of Article 3 of the Indian Constitution, which facilitated Telangana's formation. He asserted that comparing this process to the British division of India and Pakistan was egregious and called for Surya's suspension from Parliament and legal action against him.

Echoing Sravan's sentiments, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao condemned BJP leaders for their alleged disdain for Telangana's identity, labeling the comparison of the state's formation to India's Partition as both unwise and offensive. KTR also criticized Telangana MPs for their inaction in Parliament amid these remarks.
