West Bengal's Election Vigil: Ensuring Fair and Secure Polls

The Election Commission is ramping up preparations for the upcoming West Bengal elections. Senior officials are conducting district-level assessments to ensure all aspects of the poll process are secured and transparent.

Enforcement agencies have seized over Rs 416 crore in cash and prohibited items since the Model Code of Conduct came into force. Efforts are being made to prevent any unlawful activities that could compromise the integrity of the elections.

With elections approaching, officials are focused on ensuring voters can cast their ballots securely across the state's polling stations. Phase one of the elections is slated for April 23, followed by the second phase on April 29, with results expected on May 4.
