On Thursday, Nishant Kumar, son of former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, extended his congratulations to Samrat Choudhary as he assumed the role of chief minister. Choudhary stepped into the position following Nitish Kumar's resignation on Wednesday, who resigned to focus on central tasks.
This change in leadership comes after Nitish Kumar took an oath as a Rajya Sabha member on April 10, concluding his two-decade tenure as Bihar's leader. The new chief minister now faces the significant task of leading the state into a new era.
In a statement to reporters, Nishant underscored his commitment to bolster the JD(U) party under Choudhary's guidance, with the assurance of unwavering support from his father and their political organization.
