Political Controversy: New Leadership in Bihar Sparks Debate

In a heated press conference held in Purnea, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor accused the BJP of undermining democratic values by imposing a new chief minister in Bihar without public consent. He claimed that the BJP's recent political maneuvering in the state lacks both democracy and dignity.

Kishor argued that the mandate was originally in favor of Nitish Kumar, but Samrat Choudhary was installed as CM through questionable methods, including financial inducements during the election. He criticized the decision, suggesting it betrays the voters who were promised continuous leadership by Kumar.
