The AIADMK has urged no changes be made to Tamil Nadu's Lok Sabha representation. The party claims Tamil Nadu would receive 61 MPs if representation numbers increase nationally, targeting DMK's alleged dishonesty.

In a strong statement, the principal opposition AIADMK has urged that Tamil Nadu's 7.2 percent Lok Sabha representation remain unchanged. This comes amid accusations against the ruling DMK for concealing critical information. AIADMK spokesperson Kovai Sathyan voiced these concerns during a recent all-party meeting convened by DMK, focusing on constituency delimitation.
Sathyan criticized the DMK, suggesting that if the national MPs' count expands to 850, Tamil Nadu should naturally receive 61 MPs as proposed by AIADMK's leadership. He questioned the DMK's motives on social media platform 'X', highlighting discrepancies in the DMK's public stance and internal dealings.
Sathyan went further to accuse DMK leader M.K. Stalin of dishonesty, bluntly stating that Stalin could author a 'Book of Lies'. This contentious political exchange exemplifies the ongoing rivalry between these two heavyweight parties in Tamil Nadu.
