Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, M K Stalin, spearheaded a 'Women's rally' in opposition to the proposed delimitation bill, arguing the focus should shift away from women's reservation to the bill itself. The rally, part of Stalin's campaign strategies, included DMDK's Premalatha Vijayakanth and MNM's Kamal Haasan. Participants marched through the streets of a western Tamil Nadu city, joined by numerous party members and allies.

Stalin alleged that the AIADMK, led by Edappadi K Palaniswami, misrepresented the DMK's commitment to women's reservation, saying it was the DMK who first implemented such measures decades ago. Despite voicing support for women's reservation in legislatures, Stalin accused the BJP of politicizing the issue by attaching it to unrelated concerns such as census data and delimitation.

Support for the DMK's stance was echoed by DMDK and MNM leaders who critiqued the delimitation proposal directly. Kamal Haasan announced a black flag protest, while Premalatha highlighted successful DMK policies. Attention was drawn to issues like women's safety and crime, with promises of enhanced security measures, including CCTV installations.
