Mamata Banerjee Questions Election Commission's 'Intrusive Checks'

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has claimed that central forces attempted to search her car while she was en route to Kolkata airport, raising questions about selective vehicle checks. She demanded to know why BJP leaders were not subjected to the same level of scrutiny.

Addressing a rally in Islampur, Banerjee accused the BJP of employing central agencies to influence the elections and offering money to voters in poll-bound Bengal. She alleged that central ministers were ferrying unaccounted money and materials in their vehicles.

The TMC leader further criticized the BJP for targeting her party with intrusive checks by security personnel. She urged voters to report any attempts by central forces to obstruct them at polling booths in the upcoming state assembly elections.
