PM Modi Criticizes Opposition for 'Spreading Lies' on Key Issues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a campaign rally, strongly criticized the opposition parties LDF and UDF for allegedly spreading falsehoods about significant legislative issues, including the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), and the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He accused the opposition of labelling films such as Kerala Story, Kashmir Files, and Dhurandhar as "lies."
Modi hit out at the ruling party's perceived mishandling of religious issues, pointing to controversies surrounding the Sabarimala temple. He alleged corruption and accused the opposition of engaging in appeasement politics that have negatively impacted Kerala’s cultural and religious ethos. Modi also questioned the Congress's stance, alleging that it is attempting to falsely project itself as pro-Hindu.
The Prime Minister promised thorough investigations into the alleged wrongdoings by LDF and UDF if the BJP comes to power, particularly concerning Swami Ayyappa devotees. He underscored the potential of the Sabarimala Railway Project in boosting local connectivity and employment, criticizing the state government's delays, and offered guarantees of progress with a BJP government.
