Prime Minister Narendra Modi electrified Kerala's capital with a high-energy roadshow on Saturday, as part of the NDA's intensified campaign for the April 9 Assembly polls. The event transformed the city's streets into a vibrant tapestry of support, with massive crowds welcoming Modi.
Following a public meeting in Thiruvalla, Modi reached the state capital and initiated a 1.5-km roadshow from Killipalam. Despite the evening traffic, thousands of party loyalists and enthusiastic citizens lined the route. They waved flags, chanted slogans, and seized the chance to see the Prime Minister up close as his convoy inched through the crowded avenue.
The roadshow highlighted the BJP-led NDA's strategy to energize its ranks and amplify its presence in the state before the elections. Joined by BJP candidates Rajeev Chandrasekhar and R Sreelekha, the event demonstrated a robust show of strength. The BJP state leadership is optimistic that Modi's dynamic public events will bolster grassroots support and lead to significant electoral gains.
