Fraud Crackdown in Blue States: VP Vance's New Mission
President Donald Trump has appointed Vice President JD Vance as the 'fraud czar' to investigate fraud primarily in Democratic-run states. The initiative has already led to multiple arrests in Los Angeles following fraud cases linked to the healthcare system. A national task force has been established to combat fraud.
President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Vice President JD Vance will lead efforts to investigate fraud in Democratic-controlled states, including California and New York, as the newly named 'fraud czar.'
In a post on Truth Social, Trump singled out states like Illinois, Minnesota, and Maine, emphasizing Vance's focus would be 'EVERYWHERE.'
Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles have already charged eight individuals in fraud cases tied to a $50 million healthcare fraud as part of an initiative coordinated with Vance's Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. The task force is part of a broader campaign, initiated by a Trump executive order, to prove funds intended for social-welfare programs are being misused in certain states.
