AIADMK chief Edapapdi K Palaniswami has denounced DMK leader and Chief Minister MK Stalin's statements, in which he was labeled a 'Sanghi.' Palaniswami dismissed these remarks as defamatory.
Addressing a large rally, Palaniswami refuted Stalin's claims that the AIADMK was involved in violence against anti-CAA protestors. He presented a photo of late leaders M Karunanidhi and Murasoli Maran with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, asking if they too could be called 'Sanghi.'
Sanghi is a term linked to the RSS and used pejoratively by DMK and its affiliates. Palaniswami warned that AIADMK will respond if such defamatory statements continue.
