Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, made a strong statement on Wednesday, pledging continued support for anti-Israeli forces across the Middle East.
In a message broadcast by state television, Khamenei emphasized that Iran's policy remains steadfast in supporting resistance against what he termed as the 'Zionist-American enemy.' The statement was conveyed in a letter sent to the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
Despite his key role, Khamenei hasn't appeared in public since the conflict's onset on February 28, amid reports from US and Israeli sources suggesting he might be injured and in seclusion.
