The Congress delegation in Haryana has raised serious concerns over the recent Rajya Sabha elections, alleging bias and unfair conduct by the Returning Officer, as well as unethical practices by the ruling BJP.
Led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the delegation accused the BJP of engaging in vote manipulation and unethical deals to secure victory for their candidate. Complaints included horse-trading and misuse of government machinery, claiming these actions undermined democratic principles.
The Congress called on Haryana's Governor to uphold democratic norms and demand accountability from the officials involved, pushing for appropriate disciplinary measures against the IAS officer overseeing the election.
