Modi Launches Massive Development Endeavors in Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate a significant wave of development projects in Assam, totaling nearly Rs 48,000 crore, as announced by officials. The two-day visit will see the Prime Minister launching and commencing several initiatives across Kokrajhar, Guwahati, and Silchar.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday, Modi will perform 'bhoomi poojan', lay foundation stones, and flag off projects exceeding Rs 47,800 crore. On March 13, around 1:30 pm, Modi will initiate projects worth over Rs 4,570 crore in Kokrajhar.
Later, he will oversee the inauguration and dedication of projects amounting to approximately Rs 19,680 crore in Guwahati, while on March 14, at around 10:45 am, the Prime Minister will perform 'bhoomi poojan' for projects worth about Rs 23,550 crore in Silchar.
