Rajendra Arlekar Sworn In As Tamil Nadu's New Governor
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was sworn in as the 27th Governor of Tamil Nadu in a modest ceremony attended by key state officials, including Chief Minister M K Stalin and Chief Justice of the Madras High Court. Arlekar is currently serving as the Governor of Kerala.

Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar took the oath of office as the Governor of Tamil Nadu during a ceremony at the Lok Bhavan on Thursday.
He was warmly received by Chief Minister M K Stalin and Chief Justice of the Madras High Court Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari. The Warrant of Appointment was read by Chief Secretary N Muruganandam, followed by the oath administered by Justice Dharmadhikari.
Notable attendees included Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M Appavu, state and union ministers, and top officials. Arlekar, also the current Governor of Kerala, succeeds RN Ravi as the 27th Governor amid ongoing political dynamics with the ruling DMK government.
