Political tensions flare as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) criticizes the BJP-led central government for an intensifying LPG supply crisis, amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal warns of a worsening scenario, accusing Prime Minister Modi of a submissive stance towards the US.
The AAP alleges that the government has halted LPG supplies to commercial establishments, sparing only educational institutions and hospitals. Kejriwal's claims, posted on X, suggest current policies might aggravate gas and oil shortages.
Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia highlights that government assurances of LPG sufficiency have fallen flat as essential supply adjustments occur. The war's impact, he suggests, now resonates in Indian kitchens, straining small businesses like dhabas and restaurants.
