Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes Nitish Kumar's Political Transition

In a pointed condemnation directed at Bihar politics, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday lamented the political trajectory of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is poised to join the Rajya Sabha instead of pursuing a prime ministerial role.

Yadav shared his disillusionment at a press conference, contrasting previous aspirations for Kumar and aligning the move with a symbolic defeat for the PDA community. The SP leader accused the BJP of orchestrating this transition, describing it as an affront to Kumar's legacy in Bihar.

Beyond domestic concerns, Yadav remarked on India's foreign policy, expressing worries about external influences shaping national decisions. Highlighting issues of Indian nationals stranded abroad, he urged the government to prioritize their safe return.
