Jaishankar asserted that India's rise as a global power is 'unstoppable' and will be driven solely by its own strengths. He made it clear that India is charting its own course and not relying on the errors of others.
Jaishankar's remarks came shortly after US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau highlighted the US's strategic approach, contrasting India's economic path with China's. He refrained from naming any specific nations but emphasized that those collaborating with India will reap more rewards.
Moreover, Jaishankar underscored India's pivotal role in the Indian Ocean region, acknowledging some challenges ahead but confidently stating that India's direction is firmly set, indicating a robust and resolute journey towards growth.
