BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty accused Mamata Banerjee's government of imposing higher fuel taxes compared to other states while ignoring pressing security issues. Chakraborty condemned the administration for not responding aptly to international fuel price hikes caused by the West Asia conflict.

The actor-politician criticized Banerjee for advising women against going out at night instead of bolstering security and promised that the BJP would prioritize women's safety if elected. Chakraborty highlighted ongoing criminal incidents and diminishing law and order in West Bengal.

He also raised concerns about illegal immigration from Bangladesh due to unfenced borders. Chakraborty alleged the state government had neglected border security and claimed this oversight allowed illegal voting patterns to favor the ruling party.
