Amid swirling speculation about a shakeup in Karnataka's leadership, Home Minister G Parameshwara assured that no such change is currently on the cards. He stressed that decisions regarding the Chief Minister's role are exclusively determined by the party's High Command, not by individual opinions or public slogans.
Addressing ongoing rumors, Parameshwara clarified to reporters that personal opinions projecting certain leaders as potential Chief Ministers are commonplace in public discourse but do not influence official party lines. He reiterated that the party relies on a systematic process, wherein the High Command reviews circumstances before making leadership decisions.
Additionally, Parameshwara responded to inquiries about MLAs' potential foreign travel plans, assuring that such decisions remain personal. He also addressed recent comments made by Minister Priyank Kharge on the RSS, affirming the right to personal expression while underscoring that such views are individual rather than reflective of party stance.
