In a heated session of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan firmly refuted any allegations of misconduct, following a disruptive protest over the controversial Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple gold theft case. Asserting his position, Satheesan dismissed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's claims as false and misleading.

Chief Minister Vijayan condemned the opposition's attempt to create chaos within the assembly, calling for a collective denouncement of their actions. Satheesan, however, persisted in his stance, refuting claims of violence and reasserting the opposition's right to protest.

The assembly session became tumultuous, with the United Democratic Front raising slogans and attempting to access the Speaker’s chamber. The Speaker temporarily suspended proceedings, as tensions reached a boiling point, following accusations of derogatory remarks against Congress leaders Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi by ruling party members.
