Chennai-based Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL) has started the new year with an impressive array of orders, collectively valued at ₹58.94 Cr. This underscores a strong demand for its power transformers, reinforcing its market presence in India's power transmission and distribution sector.
This January surge in orders includes significant contracts from EPC companies in Karnataka. One major order, worth approximately ₹25.70 Cr, involves supplying ten 20 MVA, 110/33-11 kV power transformers over the next 12 months. Another domestic contract amounts to ₹17.89 Cr for four 20 MVA transformers and is expected to be executed within nine months.
Overall, SPEL's successful start reflects the ongoing investments in India's power infrastructure. Mr. Vee Rajmohan, Chairman and Managing Director of SPEL, emphasized the importance of timely delivery and operational efficiency to support the country's expanding energy needs.
