Maharashtra Chief Minister urged Prahar Janshakti Party leader Bachchu Kadu to engage in dialogue with the government instead of organizing agitations that inconvenience the public and risk exploitation by vested interests.
Despite a prior agreement for discussion, Kadu led a tractor rally demanding a complete farm loan waiver. The rally, starting from Chandurbazar, reached Nagpur, drawing thousands. CM Fadnavis emphasized the state's commitment to addressing farmers' concerns and urged Kadu to avoid road blockades, which disrupt public life and can be exploited by malicious elements.
The state government announced a Rs 32,000-crore package for farmers, reaffirming its focus on farmer welfare. A committee has been formed to address farm loan waiver demands. The government underscores its openness to discussing issues affecting farmers, prioritizing solutions over disruptions.
