In a bid for transparency and justice, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has approached the Islamabad High Court, requesting an attested copy of a court order. This order supposedly allows him to meet former prime minister Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated.
Afridi claims that despite having a court directive permitting the meeting, he was denied access to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder. This obstruction led to a protest staged by Afridi and other PTI leaders outside Adiala Jail.
The Chief Minister underscores the urgency of obtaining the attested court order to proceed with a contempt petition against those defying the court's ruling, stressing the provincial government's vow to uphold the rule of law.
