Zelenskiy Open to Ceasefire Talks but Firm on Territorial Integrity

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy of Ukraine has indicated openness to peace negotiations with Russia but firmly ruled out any retreat from Ukrainian territories, as Russia has demanded. He has expressed willingness for talks to take place anywhere, except in Russia or Belarus.
A summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was delayed as Moscow insisted Ukraine relinquish more territory. Zelenskiy, supported by Trump, insists on a ceasefire along current frontlines. Ukrainian and European officials are set to meet soon to iron out a ceasefire plan.
Zelenskiy has voiced the need for tougher sanctions against Russia and called on China to exert pressure on Moscow to end the conflict. He emphasized the necessity of continued financial support from European allies over the coming years.
