As the Bihar Assembly elections draw near, Janata Dal (United) leader Arun Kumar on Tuesday confidently claimed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will achieve a two-thirds majority in the upcoming polls. Kumar emphasized that the people of Bihar prefer a government that prioritizes positivity and developmental progress.

In an interview with ANI, Arun Kumar stressed the importance of the leadership duo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, urging that their political 'caravan' must continue. He asserted, "The feeling of the masses is that people with positive mentality and development in their minds should continue to stay in the government."

On the opposition front, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav challenged the NDA to declare their chief ministerial candidate in advance of the election, while introducing the Mahagathbandhan's manifesto, 'Tejashwi Pran Patra'. Declaring himself as the alliance's CM face, Yadav emphasized their roadmap and vision to propel Bihar forward.

In the political arena, the NDA coalition includes the Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, while the Mahagathbandhan comprises the RJD, Congress, and leftist parties, among others. The elections are slated for November 6 and 11, with results on November 14. (ANI)
