Janshakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav expressed strong opposition to the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal's characterization of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav as 'Jan Nayaks.' In comments to the press, Tej Pratap asserted that iconic leaders like Karpoori Thakur and Dr. Ambedkar deserve such recognition, not contemporary politicians who adopt the title.

Tej Pratap, having parted ways with the RJD, is entering the electoral fray in Bihar's Mahua constituency, challenging RJD incumbent MLA Mukesh Roshan. Emphasizing his independence from political tutelage, he said he is guided by the ambitions of Bihar's disadvantaged and youth, pledging to deliver results through self-reliance.

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav called for transparency from the NDA on their chief ministerial candidate, unveiling his own agenda, 'Tejashwi Pran Patra,' for Bihar's advancement. As the election dates draw closer, the political battlefield is set between the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan, comprising diverse political alliances.
