BJP national president J P Nadda has directed party units in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to brace for Cyclone 'Montha.'
By Monday evening, the cyclone was advancing at 18 km per hour, positioned approximately 560 km off Visakhapatnam, with predictions of strengthening into a severe cyclonic storm by Tuesday morning.
Nadda emphasized the crucial role of party workers in collaborating with local authorities to ensure timely relief distribution, healthcare provision, and heightened public awareness concerning hygiene and sanitation. Further, he directed mobilization at the booth level to guarantee safety, rescue operations, and essential support in cyclone-hit areas.
