The Assam assembly is preparing for its winter session, set to commence on November 25, as stated in an official announcement made on Monday.
Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has called for the assembly to convene at 9.30 am on that date, according to a release from the assembly secretariat.
The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) is expected to gather in the first week of November to determine the session’s length, with a proposal on the table for a five-day duration, which the committee will need to ratify.
