On Wednesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will launch his campaign for the Bihar assembly polls with rallies in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga districts. This move marks a significant phase for the Congress party as elections near.
Gandhi's inaugural rally will take place at the Sakra constituency in Muzaffarpur, a reserved seat where Umesh Ram, the runner-up from the 2020 polls, is contesting. The announcement was made by Rajesh Rathore, chairperson of the state Congress media cell.
The rally is set to feature RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, the INDIA bloc's chief ministerial candidate, alongside Gandhi. In Darbhanga, Gandhi will continue rallying support for the bloc's candidates in a bid to solidify political alliances ahead of voting.
