The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday condemned the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly circulating a fake video targeting Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. AAP claims the video, purportedly created using artificial intelligence, aimed to defame the Chief Minister.
Speaking in Morinda, Mann criticized the BJP for using deceptive tactics, questioning, "Except a fake video, what else do they have?" Legal actions have been initiated against Jagman Samra, a Canada-based individual accused of posting vulgar content that could incite hatred and enmity.
The video incident has escalated political tensions, with Punjab BJP denying the allegations and questioning Mann’s silence. The Mohali court has ordered the video removal from all platforms, drawing attention to the contentious use of AI in political battles.
