BJP Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has launched a scathing critique against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, dismissing his election promises as impractical and alleging corruption within his family. Prasad's allegations center on Yadav's ambitious pledge to provide government jobs, a notion he believes is financially untenable.
Prasad pointed to the economic disparity in Yadav's proposals, highlighting that the required funds dwarf Bihar's current budget. He also accused Yadav of attempting to claim credit for the Jeevika Didi scheme, initiated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, benefitting over a crore women.
The BJP leader further castigated the RJD for its 'jungle raj' era, characterized by misgovernance and corruption. He drew attention to legal trials involving the Yadav family, including alleged corruption in a 'land-for-job' scam, reinforcing BJP's stance on integrity.
