Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj, launched a fierce critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, accusing them of unethical practices in the Bihar elections. Kishor alleged that the BJP is pressuring his party's candidates to withdraw their nominations, undermining democratic processes.

Addressing reporters, Kishor claimed that opposition MLAs were being systematically poached, a practice he stated the BJP has repeated across multiple states. He highlighted the withdrawal of three candidates who, he said, succumbed to BJP pressure, and accused the party of obstructing democracy in Bihar.

In a specific allegation, Kishor accused BJP-favored individuals of abducting Jan Suraaj's Danapur candidate, Mutur Shah, preventing his nomination filing. He questioned the Election Commission's inaction. With less than two weeks to the elections, Kishor vows resilient opposition against BJP's influence, emphasizing Jan Suraaj's commitment to ethical campaigning.
